Yesterday on his birthday, husband signed a contract to work in a lab in Australia. Our immigration papers are in process and if everything goes well, we will be moving early next year.

Australia will be my 6th country of residence (after Indonesia, Holland, Syria, USA and Germany), husband's 8th (France, Madagaskar, Djibouti, Bukina Faso, Holland, USA, and Germany), Joseph's 4th (Holland, USA,  and Germany) and Louise's 3rd (USA and Germany).  Husband and I grew up here and there and now raise our kids between continents ... how will our kids, who are products of a nomadic multinational, multiracial and multilingual family, raise theirs? *shrug* 

On the moving day, we will be leaving freezing Germany for a summer Australia, how exciting ... (and weird).
